Hello, my name is Cristopher Rodriguez. Born in Mexico and raised in Houston, TX from a very young age, I graduated high school at the age of 16. Unsure of my career path, I pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications from American Intercontinental University. While my initial interest lay in the visual arts, my professional journey led me towards accounting, a field where I found unexpected joy and fulfillment.

I began my career in a managerial role where I created invoices, managed accounts receivable and payable, reconciled bank accounts, and processed payroll checks. This role laid the foundation for my future in accounting. My experience expanded further when I joined another firm, taking on responsibilities in reception and collections. There, I managed customer payments, handled delinquent accounts, and assisted in acquisitions, which involved importing data into spreadsheets, generating purchase agreements, and conducting title audits.

My most significant role was as an Accounting Manager, where I worked for over a decade. I was responsible for setting up new accounts in QuickBooks, preparing bills and invoices, reconciling accounts receivable, resolving billing issues, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing various financial operations. As acting CFO, I managed month-end closing and supervised an accounting team. This role allowed me to hone my skills and significantly contribute to the company's growth.

Despite my background in visual arts, I discovered a passion for accounting through these roles. This unexpected career path led me to establish Ledger Linkup, where I aim to share my expertise with other businesses, helping them succeed as I fulfill my own professional dreams.
